The CIELab Color space

3D-representation of the human perceptual color space based on measurement data. The asymmetrical expression of the human color space (CIELab) shows in 3D its expanded color differentiation potential from the axis of the color wheel (hue), which also represents its vertical luminance axis, and further radially expanding outward – in the red/violet ranges at dusk and in the yellow/green ranges during the day, which increased the chances of survival in evolutionary terms.

Rotation views around the zero axis (hue) show asymmetric spatial characteristics of each extended color differentiation on the colorimetric circle levels.

Book with chemical structure representation of optical brighteners that occur in nature and their application after synthesis for use in paper production.

Molecular dynamics / 3D visualization

The 3D molecular animation of the bio-electrical dynamics of Esculin is based on spatial data (.pdb) from the Internat. Protein-Database and illustrates the oscillation of the molecule ends (real in the GHz range). The resulting change in wavelength shifts the invisible short-wave UV component of the light into the visible range of the light spectrum and thus achieves a considerable optical brightening (also visible to a lesser extent in natural ESCULIN in chestnut fruit shells).
